Our Faith House Christmas was even more special than our Thanksgiving. A number of our residents were overheard saying things like, "I have never had a real Christmas" and "This is the first Christmas Tree I have ever decorated."
We strove to create a real home Christmas for all of our folks, and thanks to the generosity of a number of people, we accomplished our mission.
The smiles and tears of happiness that we saw on Christmas day was the greatest payoff we could have gotten.
Besides our 19 residnets, we had a few unexpected guests who were able to enjoy the abundance of food that we prepared, bringing our total to 26 homeless individuals who had a true Christmas dinner.
