The Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Mary Czajkowski to the Board of Homeless Not Hopeless (HnH).
Dr. Czajkowski, comes to HnH after a career in education and serving as Superintendent of Schools in Agawam, Barnstable, and Lexington, Massachusetts until retiring in 2018. Her years of experience in education include many achievements and state and national recognitions for her innovative work and leadership.
Dick Murphy, president of HnH says, “Dr. Czajkowski brings a background and experience that fits perfectly into our plans to expand our capacity and capability to help people get off the streets and back into society. She will play a key role in our educational and developmental programs to instill competency and self-esteem to formerly homeless people who needed a hand up to get back to a stable life off the streets. The Board was excited to have her as part of our planning process to look at where we are and where we might go as we implement our strategic plan to expand our outreach and meet the growing need.”
Dr. Czajkowski, commented about her new position on HnH’s Board, “I am humbled to be a part of such an important organization in our community. I look forward to working with the Board and meeting the residents in order to better understand their needs.”
